My family and I live on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

I move data around for a living, which you can find out more about here. I’ve been working in and leading software teams since 2017.

I write about software engineering (with a focus on data engineering), professional growth and development, and a bit of life outside work. I also share my thoughts on books I’ve read, and things I’m currently learning.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me on the mats training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 🥋, playing with some self-hosted software 🖥️, or spending time with my family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒.
